Sara Frautten was a special educator in grades K–12 and a kindergarten teacher for a total of thirty-three years. Her love of children and the process of learning led her to fulfill a dream of writing a children’s book. She lives in Winthrop, Maine, with her husband and her dog, Neli. She’s the mother of three grown sons and grandmother to Adalynn, Lillian, and Asher.
