Jennifer Richard Jacobson has had an affinity for chickadees ever since feeding them from her hand as a child. An alumna of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, she is the award-winning author of over two dozen children’s books including the picture book This Is MY Room! (No Tigers Allowed) and the chapter book series Twig and Turtle: Big Move to a Tiny House. All of Jennifer’s middle-grade novels are set in Maine including her bestselling Small as an Elephant and her newest novel, Crashing in Love. A former teacher, Jennifer loves visiting schools and sharing the joy of writing with students.
